Archangels - Making The Future

Investors

We are always interested in introducing new members to the syndicate who wish to gain access to private equity opportunities.  It is our policy to meet with any potential member to discuss our method of operation and the possible risks and rewards.

We do not charge members a joining fee or an annual subscription and only charge an administration fee of 5% of any investment made.

We recognise that some members wish to be entirely passive investors but others may wish to offer help with assessment of companies or take on non-executive roles.

Unless other stated, all investments are made under the terms of the Enterprise Investment Scheme which allows significant tax advantages to investors.  We do not give tax advice of any sort to investors.

Since we are non regulated in terms of the Financial Services and Markets Act 2000, we require each member to have up to date ‘High Net Worth' or ‘Sophisticated Investor' certificates in place (as set out under the Financial Services and Markets Act 2000 (Financial Promotion) Order 2005).  We also require to comply with the Money Laundering Regulations which involves an ID check to be carried out on each new member and every five years thereafter.  Members must also sign an Archangel membership application form and enter into a standard general two year power of attorney which is used to help administer the investments of each member (in accordance with the instructions of each member).
