Archangels led the angel field in Scotland again in 2013 with investment of £10.2million, a similar amount to most recent years (2012 £9.5million). £5.2million (2012 £5.73m) of this came from Archangel members which constitutes almost half the amount invested in 2013 by all the angel groups in Scotland taken together. The remaining £5m came from SIB (£2.5m), VCs (£2m) and other angels.

Archangels once more, was Scotlandís largest business angel funder in 2012, leading £9.5m of investment (2011 - £8.75m), and is celebrating its 20th anniversary. Mike Rutterford and Barry Sealey invested together first, in Optos, in October 1992.
